Downloading Instructions:  (See Below For Problem Solving Tips)
  • Click on the highlighted link of the program you wish to download.
  • When prompted, you can click "Save" to save the file to your computer or "Open" to install the program directly from the Server.
  • When "Save" is selected, the Web browser will prompt you to specify a name and location for the downloaded file.  To ensure that you can locate downloaded files, specify a convenient location, such as the desktop.
  • Open the downloaded file, which is self-extracting, and locate the extracted files in a convenient place on your computer.  If you accept the default location (recommended), a new folder labeled "CFCRE" will be created under "My Documents" to hold the extracted files.
  • Before downloading a file, Open and read the readme.txt for important installation instructions.

Installation Options  
 
The following options are available during the installation process:
 
    Free 30-Day Evaluation Version
    During the installation process, choose to run the 30-day Evaluation Version of the program.  Later, and without further downloads, the registration code can always be entered that converts the program into a fully functioning registered copy of the software.  The Registration Code will need to be entered separately in any working file created during the 30-day evaluation period.
     
    Registered Version
    After downloading the program(s), you can click on one of the following links to purchase a Registration Code for the Comparative Lease Analysis , the Office Needs Analysis or both.  Whether the Registration Code(s) is entered during the initial installation process, or later when initiating a new working file, the program will convert itself into a fully functioning registered copy of the software.
 
Problem Solving Tips:   
 
If you cannot locate the CFCRE program file after downloading it to your hard disk, do one or more of the following:
 
    Solution 1
    1. Search for the file by its name, and then move the file to a convenient location:
    2. Determine the name of the file you downloaded (for example, CLA setup.exe). 
    3. Find the file using the Find File feature of your operating system:
      • In Windows 2000 or Windows ME, choose Start > Search > For Files or Folders, type the filename in the Search for Files or Folders Named text box, and then click Search Now.
      • In Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT 4.0, choose Start > Find > Files or Folders, type the filename in the Named text box, and then click Find Now.
      • In Mac OS, choose File > Find or choose Edit > Find (in the Finder), type the filename in the text box, and then click Find.
      • In UNIX, use the Find command.
    Solution 2
    • Refer to the documentation or support resources for your Web browser or FTP client application to determine the default folder it uses to store downloaded files.
    Solution 3
    • Use a different Web browser or FTP client application, or contact the manufacturer of your Web browser or FTP client application to verify that the software is working as expected and is not damaged or configured incorrectly.
    • Note: CFCRE does not support third-party software, including, but not limited to, Web browsers and FTP client applications.

    Solution 4

    • Redownload the file.  When your Web browser prompts you to choose a location for the downloaded file, specify a convenient location, such as the desktop, and note the name of the file so you can find it after the download is complete.
